Second race in the 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship and already on the podium… two times. Santino Ferrucci impressed everybody with a sensational performance at Norisring in the sixth round of the series. The youngster american driver got the third row on starting grid after the qualify and he was able to manage in the perfect way both Race 2 and Race 3. The bad weather condition under heavy rain enhanced Santino Ferrucci who finished both races on the “Rookies” podium (fifth and fourth overall) without any mistake. His team mate, Michele Beretta, was not so lucky: the italian driver suffered a crash on Race 1 caused by Szymkowiak when he was in the Top 10 while, in Race 2, his race was compromised by another accident in the first laps and later by anothe rproblem that forced Beretta to abandon the race; also Race 3 was a nightmare for the young italian driver due to a collision caused by Jake Dannis: Beretta had to repair the car and he finished nineteenth.
