Eurointernational, the Italian racing team led by Antonio Ferrari, is set to embark on its tenth consecutive season in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) with renewed vigor. The team will field the new Ligier JS P325 in the LMP3 category, aiming for championship glory with a dynamic trio of drivers: Mexican Ian Aguilera, Dane Sebastian Gravlund, and Frenchman Fabien Michal.
The Ligier JS P325, introduced for the 2025 season, features significant enhancements, including a twin-turbocharged Toyota V35A V6 engine and improved aerodynamics to boost performance and reliability.
Ian Aguilera brings a wealth of experience, having debuted in LMP3 at the 2024 Road to Le Mans and achieving notable success in the Asian Le Mans Series, including multiple podium finishes. Sebastian Gravlund and Fabien Michal complete the lineup, each contributing their own strengths and experience to the team’s campaign.
Sebastian Gravlund: ““I’m finally getting my season underway, and I’m really looking forward to this race weekend. I’m driving for a super strong team with ambitions of fighting at the front of the field, and I have a great synergy with my two teammates. We are a solid trio, and we feel ready for the race. The two test days in the new car went well – we tested different setups, and I got a lot of valuable mileage in the car. It has been super exciting to get to know the new car, especially at a track like Barcelona, where I have raced quite a bit.”
Team principal Antonio Ferrari expressed confidence in the new lineup and the upgraded Ligier, stating that the team has worked diligently since the end of the previous season to ensure a competitive package. He emphasized the team’s commitment to clinching the LMP3 championship, especially after narrowly missing out by a single point in the previous season.
The 2025 ELMS season kicks off with the 4 Hours of Barcelona on April 6th, marking the debut of the Ligier JS P325 in competition. Eurointernational’s participation underscores their dedication to endurance racing and their ambition to secure top honors in the LMP3 category.
The engines will revs up again starting from friday (April 4th) with the Free Practice 1 session scheduled at 11:50 which be followed by the session reserved to bronze drivers; on saturday the schedule will feature Free Practice 2 (10:10) and Qualifying (15:30). The race will start on sundy at 12:00 and it can be watched live on YouTube or on Discovery+ .
